Alluring Ties is a companion novella to the Bayou Stix series. It’s Book 2.5 Bayou Stix. In Alluring Turmoil, we were introduced to Lexi Sloane’s two best friends, Bradi and Erik. Alluring Ties will take you on a journey into their pasts and bring you to their present.

Bradi St. James is a force to be reckoned with. She’s strong, independent, and has something to prove. All of her life, she’s watched the world around her and is determined to have a different fate from what she’s grown up with. The path you’ve always believed to be the right path, may not be your destiny after all.

Erik Jenson is a kind man. A nurturer and the kind of friend everyone wants to have. Growing up surrounded by friends and family who support him, he’s a confident man. The choices he must make and the chances he must take as he lives and grows make him the strong, loving man he becomes.

Alluring Ties contains explicit sex, including some male/male, strong language and is not intended for anyone under the age of 18 or anyone who does not like M/M romance.

I LOVED Skye Turners Alluring Turmoil and Alluring Seduction so when I was given a chance to read and review Alluring Ties I squeeled!

 

Skye Turners writing style is unique. There are few authors who I feel can write conversations well, she is one of them. The banter between the characters are real, raw and hilarious. I could totally see myself sitting there drinking with them and shooting the breeze.

 

This is a novella to her other two books and I HIGHLY suggest you read those along with this so you can get the total effect of what is going on. This helps covers some holes in the Bayou Stix #1 and #2 and you get up close and personal with Bradi and Erik.

 

I feel so bad for Bradi and what she puts herself through because she feels her worth to be so low. She is so beautiful but most of us know that beautiful on the outside does not necessarily mean that everything is rainbows and unicorns on the inside and this is the case for Bradi. Micah is perfect for her!! Understanding, open and supportive. He understands what Bradi needs from him and his love for her is so strong that it touches your own. Not to mention that he is hot, a bit demanding and definitely knows how to keep things interesting!!!

 

 Then there is Erik! I LOVE Erik and in fact I use to have one of my own lol I miss him and see so much of him in Erik it's not even funny.
 Erik is hot, aren't they all men like Erik hot ;) He himself goes through some heart breaking situations but at the same time has a good support and friend in Lexi.  And BOY his sexual encounters are EFFIN HOT! I actually got giddy every time there was a possible "Erik gets some" encounter lol I am so glad he has Alec now though! I can't wait to see what Skye has up her sleeve for the next book and where her writing will take her in the future!! ~Jessi
