MY REVIEW

I LOVE this series and was eagerly awaiting to read Throttled, a novella featuring the couple who we all fell in love with; City and Suzy! There is plenty of City's sexual innuendos and steamy scenes to go around but there is a bit of drama that I am not so sure I was convinced on.

It is implied that City's tough guy antics and hardness is rubbing off on Suzy but yet she cowers to the face of City's stubborn and head strong sister, Izzy. I guess it is easier to stand up to the one you are going to marry and set your guidelines but if you are so adamant on something I don't think even Izzy could twist my arm...I don't know...maybe she could *wink*

Suzy just rubbed me the wrong way and it was almost like I didn't know who she was anymore. I found myself so mad at her reactions and her expectations when I felt she had a fault that she wasn't ready to admit. Ugh I can't even get into what really bothered me without giving some of the drama away but I am going to say that her discomfort in one situation should have been the same in the other.

City, thank gosh he loves her because that man did not have to bend over backwards for her or had to prove anything. City is justified in everything he does in my mind. I loved how we went through his thought process and it made my heart melt a little more for him!

THEN the sneak peak to what's to come!!! YES, I can not freaking wait for Izzy's story!
